Sense of Safety Challenge

The Sense of Safety Challenge teaches children to use their senses (sight-sound-taste-touch-smell) to make safe and smart choices in dangerous situations to and from school, at home, or in public settings. Teaching sensory and situational awareness skills through 10 to 15 minute activities will provide children with the knowledge to make better decisions anywhere, anytime. The objective of these activities is to provide children with a Sense of Safety no matter where they are.

  • All material vetted child education specialists, law enforcement and Homeland Security experts.
  • Fun, engaging Downloadable Common Core-based activities and animated videos
  • Compliments school safety plan, and aligned with National Health Standards

Outcomes and Goals:

  • Children have the confidence and skills to make critical decisions.
  • Children are aware of their surroundings and have an action plan.
  • Children have a positive attitude towards law enforcement

All Challenge Materials must be submitted online in this page.

By submitting these materials, I agree that I am an authorized representative of a school or expanded learning program. I confirm that every child shown in the submitted files has a signed media release by their parent or legal guardian. I grant permission to Rocket Rules to utilize submitted content and its derivative works in perpetuity.

Please ensure that the total size of your uploads does not exceed 1GB for each file you upload. You can upload up to 3GB of material per challenge, and you can organize your Uploads Area as you wish. You can create folders, upload individual files or entire folders, rename files/folders, etc.

 CHALLENGE DEADLINE:

       – May 31, 2020 to be eligible for all prizes.
