WELCOME TO THE
The Sense of Safety Challenge teaches children to use their senses (sight-sound-taste-touch-smell) to make safe and smart choices in dangerous situations to and from school, at home, or in public settings. Teaching sensory and situational awareness skills through 10 to 15 minute activities will provide children with the knowledge to make better decisions anywhere, anytime. The objective of these activities is to provide children with a Sense of Safety no matter where they are.
- All material vetted child education specialists, law enforcement and Homeland Security experts.
- Fun, engaging Downloadable Common Core-based activities and animated videos
- Compliments school safety plan, and aligned with National Health Standards
Outcomes and Goals:
- Children have the confidence and skills to make critical decisions.
- Children are aware of their surroundings and have an action plan.
- Children have a positive attitude towards law enforcement

Step 2: ACCOMPLISH FIVE EASY ACTIVITIES (15 minutes each)
Please complete and upload at least One Lesson per Topic to be eligible for prizes. The more you complete, the safer your kids will be.
Take photos of the completed work. BE CREATIVE in presenting your photos. For example, create a fun arrangement of photos, or a poster with student drawings. Make a collage of student work, photograph it and submit. We’ve added a Rocket Mask for children to color and wear for confidentiality purposes.
